In the first stage, the league was topped by the UK who won all their matches, Ukraine A were second with 3 wins. The next two places were taken by Germany and Romania so they took the remaining semi-final places.<br /><br />Germany won 3-2 in their semi-final against Ukraine, while the UK beat Romania 4-1.<br /><br />The final, played over the weekend of 17-18 May was a close and exciting match but the UK beat Germany 3-2 to become the EYGTC champions fo the first time. Well done to them and thanks to all the captains and players who made this such a great competition. To decide the second and third place it was considered the MMS of the opponent teams, so Germany took the second place and Poland came third.<br /><br />Throughout the tournament, all 14 participating teams showed exceptional skills, courage and sportsmanship, contributing to make this tournament, we think, a good experience for everyone. <br /><br />Hopefully, next year we will find all the young players and many new ones, even more motivated, all together, despite diversities and national boundaries, to play, grow and confront&nbsp;each&nbsp;other. https://eygtc.org/2023/?id=1 Sun, 18 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0100
